Blood grouping and Cross matching are done using Ortho Autovue which is a completely automated machine.The donor area has comfortable donor couches and blood collection monitors. Blood is collected and  separated into various components using refrigerated centrifuge and automated extractor. The separated components are stored under proper temperature in refrigerators, quick freezers and platelet agitator.
