She has made significant contributions to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, research, and public health initiatives. Her academic achievements include securing first rank in MD Community Medicine and receiving the Amrita University Silver Medal in the postgraduate (MD/DM) category for outstanding research and academic excellence. She was also awarded the Best Paper at the 5th Amrita International Public Health Conference (2023) and the Silver Medal with research funding from Cambridge University, UK, for a project on glucometer accuracy. In addition, she has presented multiple papers and posters at both national and international conferences. Her research and publications focus mainly on non-communicable diseases.

She has enhanced her skills through several national and international workshops, including training in cross-cultural competence (Heidelberg University, DAAD IVAC), statistical data analysis using SPSS, R statistical software, gender perspective in health research, and environmental health research (PHFI & Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health).
