The Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church Medical College, Established in the year 2002, is now a full fledged recognized institution situated in the picturesque non-polluted location, 25 km away from the Cochin International Airport and 28 km away from the Ernakulam town.

Within these years of existence, this institution has become a centre of excellence with full complement of infrastructure facilities such as well equipped laboratories and museums, spacious lecture halls with all audio-visual amenities, examination hall to seat 250 candidates at a time, well stacked central library having open access system, digital library and 24 hour internet connection, large conference hall etc, and a team of devoted and highly experienced faculty and exemplary students.

The college has attractive playgrounds, a modern basketball court, an indoor stadium, gymnasiums etc, for extracurricular activites. The MOSC Medical College had hat-trick championship victory in the all Kerala Intermedical Youth Festivals.

The MOSC Medical Mission Hospital was started in the year 1970 with the modest vision of playing an active role in the development and promotion of health care delivery among the poor in Central Kerala. From the initation itself, the hospital has been involved in community health activities and that project was inaugurated in February 1972 by the then President of India, Shri. V. V. Giri. It has gradually grown up and has now evolved as a multi speciality 1000 bedded hospital with facilities such as True 64 slice scanner, MRI, 4D Ultra Sound, CathLab, Dry Chemistry Lab etc. It has super specialty departments such as Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Urology, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Cardiology, Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Neonatology, Oncology.
